I have spent hours searching for answers (here and elsewhere) and wanted to see if any of you can help me. (Yes - I have read the thread on U640 USB communications and many others.)

It is possible to get the Convoy to recognize MIDI ringtones by copying them into the My Ringtones or My Sounds folders on the SD card. The phone/firmware does not seem to recognize MP3 ringtones copied to the card. Does someone know of any other audio file formats compatible with the U640 that might work when copied to the card? There are some applications that will transcribe MIDI notation from MP3 or WAV files - but they are still in their infancy and cost money (not to mention all the time and trouble).

Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.
