Is there anything that doesnt require a $400.00 alarm system to be installed? I mean an app that would be programmed with the car remote and unlock the doors with the stock system in the car?

The remote on a car door works on a radio frequency," he says. , what the cell phone will transmit is an audio frequency. The car will not recognize it. It's the wrong frequency

The "Lock & Key" shops have the device that can unlock electronic car locks.

The police don't offer that service due to liability concerns. That and they may get a $kickback$ for the referral. I hear it on the scanner all the time. They will come to the rescue if there is a child locked inside the car in any measure of danger!

Manual locks are a different matter and handled promptly.

You could always try something like this, just wire it to the locks instead.
