Has anyone with the g zone boulder orange or black had the problem of the flip bumper cracking the faceplate on their phone??
I am on my third phone in a year because of this and I am not THAT rough on my phone.
It cracks right where the bumper on the back half of the phone makes contact with the faceplate just above the Verizon logo.
Starts out as a crescent shaped mark that leads to a crack.
I have only run into ONE Verizon rep that admits this is a problem all of the rest of them look at it and me like its an abuse issue ...which it is not.
And why is are their no replacement housing parts for this phone yet or even the 5 star shaped tool to take it apart???? WTF
It really is not a bad phone (I have the revised version with the front speaker
) But this quality of workmanship and materials thing is ridiculous.
I even sent an e-mail to Casio and never got a reply
Just wanted to know if there was anyone else with the same issue.
yes this is a very common problem. i once had a hookup for boulder cases, but i havent been able to get them for awhile. my theory is that it is a casio phone only in name and when have you heard of anyone trying to copy a casio design. if you find the housings, let me know, ill take at least 100
the one i had did that and the last three my dad had did that, one of them did it the forst day he had it... but we are really rought on our phones, they are still lot more durable then other phones, i want to get an old nextel i530 those things we almost indestructible
