Hello guys, I just picked up a Unlocked Samsung Star GT-5230 of NewEgg.com for use w/ AT&T. Can anyone please help me w/ the Network Settings? I have searched my butt off.

yes, i just tried a linger time of 180 and 066.209.011.032 , still no luck. And yes ,I am using WAP.CINGULAR.COM for my user id. I have the Network mode set to "automatic".
This has got me stumped !

Normally when one talks about network settings one is talking about the ability to use the phone to make voice calls. Is that what you mean or are you referring to the ability to use data? Set the network type to Manual and select the 850/1900 MHz band pair. Automatic might be selecting the 900/1800 MHz band pair.

Yes I am referring to Data use. I have set it to 850/1900 MHz and still no service available.
