So the phone is so solid....as it should be for a rugged phone.
My only quirks have been ...1 reboot of the phone when I pressed the right side of the silver ring on the outter face of the phone to see the address book. Don't know why, hasn't done it again.
I had no messaging for a few hours on Thursday last week. Verizon didn't know why and the tech was ready to blame the phone, but then 16 messages showed up all at once a few minutes later, and hasn't failed since. so I think we'll call that a network problem. The Camera is excellent. The LED flash is bright and can be turned on as a flashlight from the front face of the phone.
Overall I really love this phone....Solid, great call quality. Bluetooth works great...just make sure you use the Auto Connect or else the phone will not connect to your Bluetooth headset automatically. The phone will wait till you tell it it's ok to connect to the device. My other phones always did that automatically at BT setup.
The last pic is of the Cradle that comes with the phone. This keeps you from having to open the side charging slot on the phone which is on very tight as it has the waterproof rubber on it. Might have to get me a 2nd Cradle for work.
The battery lasted 2 full days after the first charge...but to be honest, I used the hell out of the phone. Lot's of texting, pictures, phone calls, and of course setting it up and going in and out of the menu's a lot those 2 days. Right now after a full charge I'm near the end of day 2 and I still have 4 bars with light use. I expect 3 to 4 days use under my normal usage.

There is an occasional situation where if you switch to a basic EV-DO phone without data then switch back to a phone with a data requirement that it will sometimes let you avoid adding the data plan. Hopefully this becomes a permanent workaround.
Being that the Brigade is a business push-to-talk, it may actually be exempt from a data plan afterall. They did take the Entice and Rival off the list, so perhaps the Brigade was exempted as well.
A phone is only fun when you can modify it anyway you please.
The Verizon UI....unhackable? I think not
uhmm.... google image search the phone and you get plenty.Originally Posted by MrWeller

It sounds like it won't get released to the Retail stores until March 14th I think. Someone has said that they stopped selling them over the phone now. This is the strangest phone release I've ever seen.Originally Posted by dosmastr
