Getting Internet/Web access with Page Plus using Verizon Phone

I just activated an old LG VX8360 Verizon phone with Page Plus Cellular. The phone works great for voice, text & mms but I can't get the internet to work. I know that there's a way to change the web "proxy" settings in the phones to change them to work with Page Plus Cellular (similar to "flashing" a phone). Does anyone know how to change the settings on this phone so I can also access the web?

yeah go to the top of the forum and read what it says in the headset and tech forum . it will tell u what u need to do and they will be closing ur thread cause it is in the wrong place . sorry

The top of the forum shows configuration settings that I have been unable to change in my LG VX8360 phone. I can get into the configuration setup menu, but all of the fields are locked, I can't edit or change any of them. Do I need to purchase a USB data cable and then use bitpim to unlock the configuration settings, or is there any other way I can edit them to Page Plus's settings?
