Time did not update on my phone - daylight saving

Unless i am confused on when daylight saving is, my phone time did not update. It has done so every other year using unlocked s60 phones. My acura navigation automatically updated my car's clock correctly. Not sure whats wrong.

My phone auto updated, my G37 didn't on the other hand, it messed up and switched me to pacific time. Do you have the auto time update enabled? Some phone's have to have that enabled. But if it's worked in the past that doesn't make since.

Yes auto time is enabled. And i turned it off and back on to be sure, which propmted the phone to re-acquire network connection and pull the time to the phone. But its still off by an hour. Very strange since all these years its always worked correctly.

Some phones you have to shut off and turn back on for them to update. Did you try that?

Does your phone have the option of using network time? My BB has to be set to that to have it update.

Roger, it is stupid that At&t can't syncronize the towers properly to update the clocks but unfortunately it happens every time daylight savings occurs in some markets. Glad to hear it finally got resolved for you though.

My 8525 with cooked ROM worked perfectly, I even got a little popup message telling me about the time update. The icing on the cake is that my sms timestamps are still correct! For some reason last summer DST period my timestamps were wrong on this phone, I'm glad it is a thing of the past now!

My e72 & e71 updated. I'm guessing it has something to do with at&t and not updating it.

Please read before posting. He has already said that he rebooted the phone and toggled the autoupdate setting.

And to top it off, the network finally updated the time in his area so there's no point in offering solutions anymore.
