I have searched the forums for a way to add mp3's to this vx8550 with no luck. I tried bitpim but there was not a file named shared, so I done my own research.
1: Connect your LG to your computer using a usb cable
2: Turn on the phone and open up "get it now" then select "music & tones"
3: Go to sync music and wait for the prompt from your PC
4: Click on sync digital media files
5: Windows media player will open and you can drag and drop songs right to your phone as easy as any MP3 player.
6: I am assuming that you will need drivers to do this, I have had them installed already. If you are prompted to install your device, let windows search thru the internet.
I hope this will be very useful for others as I have searched for 3 days before finding this out on my own. If this is already posted here then it must be hidden. Good luck

To fix the data issue on flashing this phone. (take the sim card out) lol :P
I'm glad I could help, even if only a few people. The search doesn't seem to work as well as most searches do. I'm not sure why but I do see alot of posts saying "use the search button" lol. It's not that useful. This should be a sticky for the how to section so it's easy to find.
