well i cant even get the damn file on the phone. that bullsh*t as software isnt working. everytime i do that command "adb root" its says "adbd cannot run as root in production builds" what the hell does this even mean.

im stuck on getting the wap setting to stick unto my phone
it keeps saying "you have entered an incorrect SPC"
whats the deal?
i have already pushed the mms to the phone and see the cricket setting in connection setting.

i have a cricket htc hero.
running Fresh 1.1 ROM
apps2sd
setCPU

ok i got to go root. now i am having another problem. at the same place. now it put the command in "adb root" and this comes up "error: closed" what am i doin wrong. i made sure i have the right hardware install i do have "ADB INTERFACE" on the device managers.

so here is the problem the reason why mms is not working cause adb is still not connecting right with my phone. I have root my htc hero and even thats not helping. i put command "adb root" now i get this "error: closed". ok what is goin on why is this not workin i have never had this much trouble flashin a phone. please someone tell me whats goin on.

Does it say signal error or connection error or something like that when you receive/send an mms? Because if so I was having the same problem but I found out that when you receive/send an mms you should open the browser and refresh a page so the mms could download/send it I dont know why. Not sure if this will help you but it sure helped me out alot.
