NO. Verizon prepaid cannot be activated on PPC.

    Nope.

But there are LOTS of phones you can activate. Craigslist, and Ebay are good sources.

The cheap phones at Walmart are cheap cuz someone is helping pay for it. (Probably WalMart)

For example, if you bought the Samsung Smooth directly from Verizon its around $50ish...

Other places to find phones to use on PPC:

    1. Direct from PPC - see their website.

    2. Or, click on the STORE LOCATOR in the upper right corner of the PPC website to find dealers near you. Call first to verify they sell PPC phones.

    3. Google or Bing search on some of the user ids from this forum and you will find online dealers who sell phones.

A bit of warning though... I switched from Vzn postpaid to prepaid. Then when I tried to switch to PP, customer service told me their system could not activate my Samsung Juke (prolly cuz it is an active Vzn prepaid account!) I had to go to a local PP dealer to do the switch, and good thing he was able to.

And at least we finally know why they banned beyond six months:

"Similarly, representatives confirmed prepaid devices from Verizon are blocked because Page Plus does not have a way to determine which Verizon prepaid phones have met the “6 month rule”, the term for which Verizon requires before unlocking prepaid devices for use on Verizon proper or its MVNOs."

    You got the stock answer.

Best bet is to ask a dealer to check the ESN
