    HTC Venture is Verizon's EVO

The Android Army does not stop, does not rest, does not sleep and continues to march and multiply...

Sprint's HTC EVO may be sold on Verizon as HTC Venture

I call BS on them saying it will have LTE. Wouldn't be surprised to see it as a cdma phone on Verizon though.

But when are we going to see an hspa version of this phone??

No way this will be on LTE, but I wouldn't be surprised it VZW gets it as a slow CDMA version.

Only way this is gonna be on LTE, is if they delay the release for AT LEAST 6 months.

Other than that, sooooooo happy it's not gonna be a Sprint exclusive.

Wow, that is good news. I definitely know how frustrating it is to want a phone on a network that doesn't cover you(as I have unfortunately experienced with the iPhone), so I am glad it will be available to more people. I don't think we will see an LTE version for a while.

I have both Verizon and Sprint coverage in my area, but I still would rather have the sprint version because of the really well priced plans and 4g right on the horizon. Still good news, especially those who were expecting the HTC Incredible and N1 at CTIA.
