    Sound Recorder?

I noticed in applications there is an sound recorder and when I send a text there is an option to record sound. How can I create a a short cut to record sound? There are no other ways that I can find to access the sound recorder.

    Thank You

    Don

As with any other app, you can go to the home screen you want to put the icon on, then open the app tray, hold down the icon for the sound recorder, and drag it to the spot on the home screen you want to put it.

That's the problem tho. There is NO way to do that. The only way I can record sound is by composing a text message.

Hmm, I'd have to dig out my Devour to find the specifics on that tool. But you can try two free apps I use from the Market... Voice Recorder and Virtual Recorder. Both are great voice recording tools.

It looks like that program is part of the Text Messaging package and you can't use it apart from that. I'd recommend the apps that pgens suggested.
