Remove the .com and change the W to w (lowercase).Access name - Wap.cingular.com
If that doesn't work,

Ok, I've searched the web every where and tried everything I could possibly try. I've had the same settings on a different behold with At&t and it connected to MediaNet just fine. But for some reason I'm having trouble with this one. So far I have,
*#6984125*#
3, Network & call settings,
7, Connections,
configured the following on pretty much everything in this menu, except for the MMS of course.
Access name - Wap.cingular.com
Auth type - Normal
User ID - blank ( and yes I've tried it with WAP@CINGULAR.COM and WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM, I stuck with no user name and pass because the previous beholds worked just fine without it )
Password - Blank
Protocol - HTTP
Home URL - http://device.cingular
Proxy address - wireless.cingular.com:80
Linger time - 300
Any Ideas what on this that I could try?
I'm about to call it defective at this point but I thought some one out there might have had the same problem.
man do I hate houdini........

If you feel that you have to correct some of my posts for my capitalization of some of my words, then just bear with it. It's just a discussion forum where some may be limited by time to answer in well-versed and eloquent sentences.

When asked if I see the glass half empty or half full, I responded I see just a glass of water.
Now you know how I think.
yeps, I've tried yet nothing. You know it's freaking weird, everytime I open the browser it still starts off with the t-zone home page. Once I click on the home icon it goes to the http://device.home.
That's because of the T-Mobile firmware/branding. My unlocked SGH-t809 did the same thing even though I was using my AT&T SIM and had the AT&T settings in it.
When I had T-Mobile and used my AT&T/Cingular branded Samsungs, it would start off with mMode or MEdia Net browser but would still go to the T-Zones/T-MobileWeb portal. On an unbranded Samsung such as my SGH-D600, it would have the OpenWave Browser which is the generic browser that comes with it.
Checkout this thread for settings on another unlocked Samsung phone being used on AT&T.
Picked up a Unlocked Samsung Star GT-5230 Need help w/ network settings
Yeah, I've already tried all those. I'm gonna try to get this done by tmrrw and if I get it going I'll post the update. Maybe it might help some other folks with the same problems.
I was wondering if you had any luck with your phone? I have the t919 Behold, but Im using Wind Mobile (Canada). Any suggestions on what I can do to make it work?
Since the T919 is running a proprietary OS, any luck with getting support Samsung directly?
On the proxy, try using 8080 instead of 80
As is on my unlocked Moto Q8 global, under MMSC (settings for AT&T's MediaNet) - I show IP address in use - as in - 66.209.11.32
Everything else that looked to be same/identical - under the IE browser's Connections (Auto detect settings & Select Network: WAP Network)
Read other website's posting about internet connectivity issues with this phone when trying to use this phone overseas - most likely part of the T-Mobile firmware branding since for web/t-zone access, proxy settings are needed & is different vs. AT&T (locked - hidden - read only & cannot be modified ??)
