PC Studio -- where to get?

Samsung no longer provides a download because it comes on CD with some phones. I have an older Telus U510 which never came with PC software and the only sites that claim to have it (like softwareinformer.com) are complete scams. I'm impressed with how much work some scammers do to hook people. There are dozens of sites and Google ads all leading back to the same malware.

So where can I get a copy?

It's right on the samsung website. www.samsung.com

click on support, downloads, chose any phone, or click global download center and choose your phone and select software.

In Canada I go straight to Samsung Canada with no link to the global download (and no software download options either). By hooking into Samsung UK I did find valid links to PC Studio for some phones (only a few work). So we'll see how it goes from here.

    Thanks.

(Just to add to the confusion, different radios leads to different model numbers in different countries.)

Next time try visiting the SamsungUSA website as they do have PC Studio versions available for different models.

    http://www.samsung.com/us/

Not sure if any of the PC Studio versions work with the SCH-U510 since it is uses CDMA technology and not GSM/WCDMA/UMTS like Rogers/Fido. Most (if not all) of the CDMA Samsungs for the US do not have any PC Studio versions that will work with them since most are Provider branded with their own proprietary stuff.

Some of the ones that I've seen New PC Studio available for download are the SCH-U450 (DoubleTake) from Alltel and the Intensity (SCH-u450) from Verizon.

BitPIM is what some people have been using to get stuff to/from their CDMA Samsungs.
