Motonav trial period (Milestone)

I just got a Milestone (unlocked on Fido but originally from Telus). I opened up Motonav because I wanted to just get a sense of how it looks but it started my 60-day trial period without actually prompting me. I don't really have any use for nav in the next 60 days but I might later on.

I did make a full backup of the Motonav folder from my SD card before I started using my phone.

Is there any way to reset this trial period and use it later instead?

And once my trial is up... is Motonav good enough to want to pay for it if I need a GPS in Canada down the road? Or are there free/cheaper alternatives that are good enough?

I did notice - when I plot between two US addresses in Maps, "Navigate" does show up for Google Maps Nav. So at least I know when I'm on a trip to the US I'll be able to use that on my AT&T SIM. (I wonder if it's in there because my AT&T SIM was in the phone when I updated Google Maps in the market?)

I'm trying to find information on the pricing for Motonav after the trial is over and I'm not having any luck. Does it only display after you go in to activate the product?

How much does Motorola charge after the trial to keep navigating in Canada/US?

Cant remember price exactly, but if you go to the registration page URL that is provided once you click the "activate now" button on your milestone, you will be presented with an option to "buy" a licence and it shows you the price... think around $70...
