The SH-01B is a great phone... it actually has longer battery life compare to 940SH in my own experience on GSM only setting ;x And no media lock is great... but too bad it doesnt' have wi-fi like the 940sh

N-02B is close enough. Rotating screen, 12.2MP CMOS, 3.2" WVGA, WiFi, etc. And no media lock. Possible software unlock too so yeah. Not too shabby.

i guess so, but i dont really like the design of the N-02B

And imo the colors are weird. But prices are much cheaper...

and one color (Flash Silver) looks NERV-ish. In pictures it doesn't look that similar to the SH-06A NERV but IRL it's surprisingly similar.

im waiting on n-02b, if i can get one cheap I would, but third party auction services wont ship with the li ion now sucks.

Picture quality should be good enough if it takes it like the 5mp nec models I played with

I went into about 5 white rom shops in Akihabara today and the selection was decent. Checked out an N-02B but didn't really like the keypad. It was selling for 35,700 Yen. I believe it was around 59,000 brand new from a DoCoMo shop. There were actually most models for sale it seemed. I'm going to wait on an SH-01B or F-01B I think..those are my favs at the moment.

N-02B looks pretty good IMO. I would go for the black model. I love boxy phones.

yamanote: yea, I went to all the janpara shops. I bought my sh-06a from them last year in akihabara as well. I am going to visit keitai-recycle Moba in shibuya on friday I think.. might pick up my sh-01b or f-01b! Think they have new ones for under 40,000 yen..
