Help! SMS sending error (Milestone)

Hi everyone,

I have the Motorola Milestone, and for some reason I an unable to send any SMS. Whenever I try to send text messages to anyone (even to my own number), it says "Message Not Send"...

However, I am able to receive text messages. I am also able to do everything else - voice, data, etc - on the phone without a hitch.

I have tried entering in the APN information again, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I have also tried reflashing the ROM, factory reset, clearing data and defaults of the Messaging app... I don't know what else to do.

I called Telus tech support, but they were not helpful. They just gave me "oh that's odd" kind of response. I've been dealing with this problem since Friday.

call telus back again until you get someone that will help you. this has nothing to do with APNs.

occasionally i will have problems sending SMS also but that is only when i'm spamming the system and sending sentences one after another instead of one big message. then some of those messages won't get delivered when i pressure the system like that. lol

Got this fixed today. Ended up being a missing SMSC number on the handset.
