Tried to send email with a few photos attached - now no email sync. What now?

Since I tried to attach 4 photos to one email and send it from my phone I have been unable to send or receive email on the phone. The app opens fine but it will not update. It gives no error unless I try to view a folder and it goes on to say there is no connection. I have a good internet connection and Gmail is working on the laptop.

Do I need to do a factory reset? Does that mean I have to totally reconfigure everything including Helix and all other apps with configs?

I had this happen to me before. I was able to fix the situation by deleting the offending email from the outbox and rebooting the phone.

I don't know if I got lucky or if that is what actually fixed the problem since I never tried to send an email with large attachments again.

I ended up having to do a full reset of the phone. PITA
