Motorola DROID 2 Pre-Release Thread

Will the Droid 2 be comparable to the Incredible specs wise? I am debating on using my one year on the incredible.

When they finally leak compare the Incrediable to the Shadow. Remember the Droid2 has a keyboard.

Before any asks I am not going to leak the hardware. It will be fine though, no power issues.

which will have better specs, shadow or droid 2? if they're close to being the same phone i might just skip holding out for the droid 2 and pick up a shadow when it's released.

I see the Incredible is now available for pre-order. Still not much info about droid 2.

So...the phone is on its last leg...but it works completely fine...

So, sounds to me like going from a Droid to a Droid 2 will be the equivalent of going from an LG Voyager, to the LG EnV Touch....nothing groundbreaking, just some minor bumps here and there.

I have a Droid and love it, got 3 of my family members on one too. I have a line opening up for renewal in August, so I'm looking forward to what is coming down the pike. I got the Droid strictly based on the keyboard (and because the Eris was a VERY bad second choice). I am finding how much easier it is to just use soft keyboard now. Incredible or Shadow will probably be my options....(not that it matters to anyone lol...just spouting nonsense)

i prefer the shdaow to droid2 for my needs and wants. since having a droid a droid2 would just be a improved version of it. i am a phone junkie so i like new different toys.

All seem like great devices, HOWEVER, I am extremely disappointed by the camera in the Droid. So I wonder which device, the Shadow or Droid2 has a significantly better camera

I'm dying to see what the Shadow looks like now, Bill. Anything that could be done to provoke a leak - anything at all - would be oh so greatly appreciated

I think we're about due. I can't believe it's taken this long if this device is really only 2 months out.

I thought I was the only person that cared about the camera on a phone. The Storms camera was excellent and I was really disappointed once I tried the Droids camera, and the flash is awful.

No its very important to me. And the Droid is awful. My SE W810, K790, Nokia N95 and iphone 3GS all smoked the Droid. I want something better.

Any chance the Shadow could come out within the 30 days of the Incredible's release? I already pre ordered 2 (one for the wife), but I would like a bigger screen and the HD2 was pretty.
