Maybe the Droid X will be released on the 2nd, and the Droid 2 will be released on the 19th?

I really hope that you are right, I didn't notice that the first time that i watched it. I like that better than droid 2 released in august.

hm. i think both devices will be released at the same time. when? we will know tomorrow at 1(2)pm... my guess is july 19th! the prepare-store-thing droid-life reported makes sense to me...

If the OMAP 3630 is already overclocked to 1 GHz how much more could we overclock it and still have stable processing?

we don't know yet if it will be the 3630 or the 3640 (which is designed for 1ghz, so no OC). in my opinion (and i have read posts by people claiming to be working for TI/motorola who said 3640) it will be the 3640 because motorola most certainly won't overclock the device for warranty issues. but anyhow both are 45nm processors which consume less power and therefore produce less heat. so my guess would be that the droidX/2 can be overclocked a lot as the omap seems to be able to run at much higher frequency's that it has been designed for ... maby 1.5ghz? anyone here who has experience with this?

This same thing happened with the teaser video for the Droid 1. I can't remember specifically, but they did a month and year only as well and people were trying thinking it was something different. Bottomline is the D2 will not be out till August. No teaser videos have surfaced and I don't think they want to release it at the same time as the X. Also I think they are trying to release the D2 with Froyo.

i agree with rgn, i think its an effect coming from the 2010 cuz if you play it through it seems to just be a musical note and a 7.

Besides, if we were to take it very seriously there would be plenty of inconsistencies. why initially "07.2010" to "07.2.2010"? it would have been a great easter egg if it had said "07.02.2010" instead

Maybe it was done on purpose, maybe not... We'll see... But what's the difference between 07.02.2010 and 07.2.2010? It's the same date! Maybe it's just the way they decided to do it. Maybe they didn't want it to read in perfect date format..?
