I'm new to cell phones, and am wondering how to get ringtones? I thought I download them to my computer, then put them on my memory card, then set it as a ringtone in my phone. Can I do it that way?

How do I get music ringtones to my LG, VX8700 phone? Any good place to get them free without signing up to another site?
