I switched my Dad's $10 web2go to the Preferred $5 plan a few days ago but now when I log into his account, his line shows as having no services. I would hope they didn't remove it. And now when I try to add a line of service back, there is a message that states the website is being upgraded and to check back later. Grrr.

This is exactly what I'm getting too, but the services themselves are still "working." (I can still get emails, access web via "Preferred Blackberry Web" and get wap web on my dumbphone via "Preferred Web2Go.")

Like ThePhantom said above though, the special services often don't show up; I don't see my free myFaves, and I don't see $9.99 family messaging either.

I changed to the $5 web2go plan last saturday I too had the same problem. It wouldn’t show up on mytmobile, but if you access your account from your phone it shows up instantly. It took about 5 day to show up on mytmobile. Also I received mutable text messages over 3 days from tmobile stating my plans had changed. Each time I would check my account. My phone was always correct, but mytmobile never was until about 5 days after the switch.

I just had success getting the $20 Android addon put on my account through live chat. It doesn't show up online under my services, but neither did the old VPN total internet when I had it. The $20 Android addon does show up when I check my plan/services through my phone, so all is well. I was also able to get the Cliq XT for free after instant discount with contract extension through the my T-Mobile website. What a deal!

This thread just saved me money. Thanks for all the info!

Hmm, My account shows the $9.99 family messaging under plan details and also the $19.99 tmobile total internet w hotpsot ... And free myfaves are only shown when I first log in but not under plan details. The weird thing is $5 webtogo did show up for the PAST couple of days and some of you are saying for you guys it showed up AFTER couple of days...

Which access points can you use? Same as web2go (internet2 on unbranded/Nexus, epc/wap on T-Mo dumbphones?)

    I haven't had problems since I switched off $25 android onto old $5.99 T-zones.

internet2 APN in my N1 and all other smartphones (TP2, BB 8900, N900, and HD2)
epc APN in the T-Mobile dumbphones (TM506 and Nokia Nuron)

The $5 preferred web2go doesn't show up in my T-Mobile even though I have it (two lines). I should have added it to all of my lines last week.

You will see it if you download the T-Mobile my account app from android market (Nexus One), it will be listed. In addition, you will see it under advanced bill summary on mytmobile after billing cycle.

My only regret with $5.99 T-Zones is i have no access to internet2 anymore, but EPC works on smartphones/dumbphones.

What is the difference between internet2, epc and wap? I have $5.99 T-Zones and all I recall reading is that epc has compressed images. I typically use wap.voicestream.com on my phones.

I downloaded Tmobile My Account Apps for N1, it takes forever to load!! However, the $5 Web2go plan did show up on my account through T-Zone if I switched sim card to a Tmobile dumbphone
