The smartphone data plan(s) don't have any restriction except the 10GB soft cap.
Make that 5GB now, see the other thread....don't know if they are really enforcing it at 5gb, I havent noticed any problems.

Unfortunately family allowances is still showing as $2 on the rep's computer, but I got the $5 data after being offered the $10 data w/ 1st month free.

I was also able to finally lower my plan to 700min

    THANKS NEWGUY!

p.s. Is it only internet2.voicestream.com that would work? I added to a line using a old blackberry pearl
Mikey, can you please post any differences you see between the $5.99 T-Zone Plan and $5 loyalty web2go? Ex: type of APNs allowed, types of phones blocked.

oddly enough, $5 web2go is showing up in myTmobile, but I am really torn as whether or not I should add this, but I think i will keep my T-Zones, since it is working on most of my phones...

EDIT-when I tried to add it to see if it would let me keep both T-zones and web2go (which I would do) it would not let me click add. I am fairly sure I would have to remove the $5.99 plan before adding this, which I will not do.

I wouldn't touch it. It's worded like the $10 plan, so it should have the same limitations.
LTE has arrived. The third carrier in Las Vegas with 10x10 LTE coverage

Coverage will expand to 100 million LTE pops for the first half of 2013, with the second half of 2013 expanding to 200 million POPs covered. Release 10 LTE (2×10, 2×20) will be better performing than all other competitors.
T-Mobile USA. “This year, we’re stepping on the gas again. We are making continued coverage improvements and launching an advanced LTE network

I was going to try it in conjunction with $5.99 plan (then pay $11 and have access to all 3 APNs?), but since it wouldn't let me add both, I'm just going to forget it.

The $5 plan should have access to epc.tmobile.com and wap.voicestream.com as well. I don't know which setting would work better on the blackberry.

Today I logged in and tried a service change (currently web2go on a HD2). T-Mobile still thinks I'm on a BB 8900 so it offered the preferred $20 BB data plan. I then changed my phone to the HD2 and the preferred $20 smartphone data plan. I don't know if I should make the change or keep my $10 web2go since it still works. I don't want to pay more monthly.

Change it your Nokia 6030 and grab the loyalty Web2Go, you can always get the $10 version later if it doesn't work

I was going to remove the IDL feature off my BB line, and the system is forcing me to remove my grandfathered feature and to replace with the new feature. I can't go around it, it's a pop-up that forcefully removes it. I don't mind paying the extra $0.12 per year but wanted to know if this extends my contracts or will subject me to being denied future special save offers because I have "too many" preferred features. It's doing this for all of my lines.

I'm using the BB 8100 and at this point it ONLY seems like internet2.voicestream.com is working.

I tried the other APNs such as epc.tmobile.com , wap.voicestream.com , and apn.tmobile.com . Those 3 did not work for some reason. It wouldn't even load the regular T-zones page with those settings.

I may be wrong though because the BB 8100 is pretty slow and has some problems. The main reason I got that phone was for the free internet hack on internet2, but I never got it working. $5 plan made it work, so it'll stay.

These "pref" add-ons do not extend contract...especially adding via MyTmobile
