Below is a notice from Page Plus regarding the Unlimited TnT Pricing Increase. Not sure how subscribers will take this price increase and how much impact this would have to our business overall.
Effective May 18th, the price of the Unlimited Talk n Text plan will increase from $39.95 to $44.95 per month. At the same time, we are also announcing that unlimited MMS picture messaging is included in the plan (data transfer charges may apply).
This action protects the long-term viability of the Unlimited plan, which remains the best nationwide value for the vast majority of customers. Other providers simply cannot offer as much value because their coverage area is not as strong as ours.
And rest assured that - although other carriers advertise a monthly unlimited price and then add taxes and fees to their customers’ charges - our $44.95 price is the total price of the plan, with no additional hidden taxes or fees.
Current Unlimited Talk n Text customers will be notified of the change in advance via SMS. If the price change falls in the middle of their plan cycle, the increase will not affect them until their renewal date. It is very important for your dealers to encourage their customers to evaluate their usage. If they do not truly need an unlimited plan, and the $44.95 price would cause them to consider switching service providers, then our Talk n Text 1200 plan at $29.95 per month may be a better option for them.
All Unlimited Talk n Text hard cards and PINs currently in the distribution channel will automatically convert to a $44.95 value the evening of May 18th. After this time they will carry the value of $44.95 when they are replenished, regardless of when they were purchased. This means $5 will be added to each $39.95 card or PIN in your inventory.

I'm still confused as to the "MMS Included" deal is about.... Thought it was already included ?

New marketing materials, including banners, flyers and posters, are also being produced and will be available to you from your Master Distributor. These materials will be provided on a one-time basis for the launch of the price change. Thereafter, you can order them directly from the online Marketing Store in the dealer portal of our website. Please be sure to change out your marketing materials!

I also got this email. Hopefully they don't change TnT 1200, otherwise I'll probably have to switch to something else. Hopefully I can find a provider that will let me use my Omnia.
If they added unlimited data, I would be OK with this.
guess its time to stock up on 5-10 extra cards even though i wanted to avoid having to do that... i guess if you go through someone that is reputable it shouldnt be an issue though... has anyone had any problems with invalid pins from callingmart or any of the other big pin retailers???
i guess it may really just be time to bite the bullet though and switch to strait talk since they seem to be a lot more reliable as far as pulling stunts such as this and offer unlimited data...
yes it will be awesome but i dont think verizon would let pageplus use unlimited data. If pageplus add separate additional data package, i will be ok with it too.Originally Posted by jivago
MMS is not currently included in the uTnT plan. Each costs $0.10 plus data transport. See here: https://www.pagepluscellular.com/Pla...0n%20Text.aspxOriginally Posted by jaysen2
Perhaps I missed something - is the amount of included data changing to 50MB, or no? I seem to recall a rumor about that happening next month...
Sounds like it will now be unlimited, before it was only part of your 20mb/month.Originally Posted by jaysen2
I don't understand the Unlimited MMS, (but data transfer charges may apply)?? Anyone figured that out yet? Also, you guys are fast. I raced to my computer to get details on here 3 minutes after the email and it was already posted .lol
Are they going to start backing off on tagging people with abuse?
You had MMS, upto your 20MB limit. Now, there is no data usage for MMS.Originally Posted by electron6
I'll be honest, I signed up for PPC about a week or two ago, and I'm really starting to determine whether that was truly a good idea. PPC is changing policies and prices on the daily now.
So, this means that you have unlimited MMS....But, if someone browses the internet, there won't even be the 20mb of data for that?? This will lose customers ! !Originally Posted by UrbanBounca
I'm not sure whether they are ridding of the 20MB for 'net usage or not.Originally Posted by electron6
That's my biggest problem. I recently switched because $39.95 was only $5 more per month than what I was paying, and sure the coverage is better, but not $10 per month better.Originally Posted by Quizologist
This is very confusing, not sure what the "Data Transfer Charges" means, for unlimited[U] MMS. But at least they did notify people this time. It is the very first email I have ever received.
