*NOTE* The method I am attempting to use to unlock my phone is the one that Bell Mobility told me to use. I'm not trying to go around behind their backs, otherwise, I wouldn't have paid Bell the $75 unlocking fee if I was trying to do this behind their backs.
Well, I have the unlock code for my Nokia 2730 Classic. Its been locked to Bell Mobility in Canada. I have retrieved the lock code from Bell and when i tried to enter it, it told me "Cannot Undo Restriction". Some digging helped me figure out that this means that I can't unlock the phone without resetting the FBus, or uploading a new RPL file to the phone...
So, i have used NSS (Nemesis Service Suite) to save an .ASK file. My question is, what the hell do I need to do with the .ask file to get the correct RPL file that will allow me to use the code I got from Bell to unlock the phone?
Any ideas?
PS: as for debranding the phone, the current product code is 0588611, which corresponds to a Nokia 2730 Classic with Bell Mobility's tweaks to it. Nokia Phoenix says that the base production code is 0580666. Is this the correct code for an unbranded Nokia 2730 Classic?
I bought my Nokia 2730 Classic in Hong Kong. I assume this is different with the American version. I am not sure if same with Canadian version either. I also assume this phone is unlocked.
I am looking for downloads of ringtones and games? I did not find my in Zedge. Any help?
Different only in the fact that its 900/1900, and the one for NAM is 850/1900. Oh, and the branded firmware. Check m.getjar.com, they have a nice selection of games...

I should get this phone in a week or two (job phone). It is from beel and, of course, will be branded.
Is there any generic firmware for it? If yes, which product code should I use? i tried to search the firmware list with Navifirm, but for what I see, there is only Bell firmware there. Am I stuck with that?
I am in the same situation, with a 2730 classic from Bell Canada. Did you add a "+7" or a "+1"? Or could you please tell me how did you do to unlock it? Maybe I'm on crack.
