How to Sync ipod music to Android Device

So I'm switching from a BB to the Incredible this Thursday. I have an ipod that I want to stop using and use my cell as a music player instead. Blackberry Desktop Manager has a feature to sync your music from itunes onto your blackberry. Does android have anything like this? Or is there an easy way to convert my itunes music files back to a standard mp3 so that it could be loaded onto my future android device?

Since no one has the phone yet its hard to say. On my Droid I used a program called Doubletwist worked great for non protected music. You can use Itunes to make MP3 copies but it's a hassle.

Android also supports iTunes AAC files just not the protected ones. I use the free version of Salling to sync my iTunes library to my Droid.

I don't see why the typical solutions used wouldn't work. A mounted SD card is a mounted SD card. There's Doubletwist, Sailing Medai Sync, iTunes Agent and many other options.

Just want to note that iTunes Agent is Windows-only. doubleTwist and Salling work on both Windows and Mac.

Songbird is another option for Windows users (Songbird also has a Mac version, but I couldn't get Songbird to recognize my Droid on my Mac).

All the apps listed are free. Salling has a free and paid version but the free version works fine if you don't sync often.

None of them will work with syncing protected music as it wouldn't play on the device. You'd have to convert the .m4p files to another format or upgrade them to iTunes Plus to get the DRM-free versions.

Feel better? Remember the early produced Droids wouldn't sync
with Doubletwist or Sailing? Lots of discussions last Nov, I had one, Turns out it was a bad card. Verizon replaced the phone, later card found to be the problem.
So we won't know until we know

If you're quite comfortable with iTunes, doubleTwist offers the closest GUI experience to it. And since you're talking Android here too... the Android Market is accessible thru doubleTwist now in a very iTunes Store-like way, at apps.doubletwist.com ...

My favorite, which is a paid app on the Market that also requires a PC side component, is TuneSync. It does all the syncing over WiFi.
