    .

Just curious...Has anyone else ever noticed that when a person posts here via their cell phone, their MEID and phone number are displayed for all to see...?

TF (presumably TracFone), 268 435 45x xxx xxx xxx (a ST MEID), some nifty zeros, and apparently the poster's phone number.

looks like that only applies to tracfone or straight talk phones. i did a test post w/ my htc ozone and only my browser name (opera mini) and a couple of other things came up. but no MEID or #.

That is because ST and NT include your imei# in your post automatically. I tried it on another forum also.

Yes, you can have Java while using your cell phone. Go to Wal-Mart, buy a coffee maker, coffee maker filters and a can of coffee (Java), go home, plug in the coffee maker, follow the instructions that come with said coffee maker. Volia! A nice cup of Java.

Seriously, good luck! Tracfone clamps their phones down tight.

I could be off base, but.... I know with a RAZR on Verizon, the phone is programmed with BREW, as oppose to the same RAZR on another carrier like Tmobile, in which case the phone is programmed in JAVA. Therefore a Verizon RAZR couldnt run JAVA apps because JAVA wasn't ON the phone.

So, it might be logical to assume that NO straight talk phones could run JAVA apps because they're all programmed with BREW to run on the Verizon network... but.. I don't know this for a fact.
