I'd like to know how the Battery lasts. I have the Eris for about 3 days because the battery couldn't last a whole day (With hardly any usage)
The million dollar question:
Can you record a HD video and upload it to youtube via cellular signal?
This is my biggest peeve with the moto droid.
Home ISP, RR-Ultimate WiFi, $90/mo | Verizon 4G, $30/mo Unlimited
School, $5,000/semester | Work
To everyone that asks about the battery life. First off i dont think many will be able to say much about it for daily use, as most people that got it today will be playing around on it all day.
Second off, big key to saving battery life, is using a task killer app. And killing all unused apps after you use multiple apps before you put it in your pocket. At least iv found that saves my battery to have 40% left before bed after using it for work and such.
Verizon Wireless:
HTC Incredible
450 Minutes
Unlimited Text & Data
Former AT&T, Sprint, Nextel Partners, T-Mobile and Cingular (back when separate) customer.
I am new to Smartphones so any help would be great.
I am trying to download apps, such as WeatherBug. However, there is no progress on the download. It only says Starting download... and the bar remains empty.
I've tried on 3G and WiFi from my home, nothing has worked.
Can anyone help?
What are some good apps that will kill tasks on demand easily?
Hmmm... did it prompt you to get an account for google market? Or did you already setup a gmail account on the phone? I forget if it ever prompts, i know mine didnt and it already had my login i assume from my gmail where i had a moto droid before.Originally Posted by sFab
anybody having issues signing onto facebook? it keeps telling me to try again later.
Messed with one today at the store and loved it. One of my concerns is there were a lot of apps on it that i wouldnt use and the guy said he wasnt sure how to delete them. also, im not a big fan of having so many home screens as i dont use that much stuff to begin with.
Is there an Android Market you can look at online?
I set up an account on the phone. I would constantly get a notification of me not being able to sign in to Google Talk.Originally Posted by killer2239
I've read that someone else had that problem and they signed into Talk and the app problem was fixed. I'm still not able to sign into Talk.
Any solutions for that one too?
You can uninstall any apps that you install. You cant uninstall any that are on the phone from htc though. I think there are only 2 apps i personally would remove if i had the option to from htc though.Originally Posted by LeroyTheGreat38
As for home screens. I only use 3 screens myself. I just use the main middle one, then one to the left and one to the right. I leave all the others blank. Just use the main app button to see the list of my apps if its not a frequently used one that id have on one of the 3 screens.
Personally i keep main screen like they have setup, with 2 small changes for specific apps i use. Then i use 1 screen for media widgets, and 1 screen for the "favorites" part of the phonebook.
Hope this helps!
