Hi FAUguy, which one should I use, EVRC or EVRC-B? How can I access the service menu to change the setting? Thanks a lot!

Hmm, this was covered before, but you have to dial ##PROGRAM and then enter the code 000000. Go to NAM CDMA Settings, and scroll down to the 3 that say "preferred voice service". All three should say EVRC, but you can change them to EVRC-B and see if that helps. On some phones and markets the EVRC-B sounds better, but I've tried both here and think EVRC sounds better.

You had to delete your (real) facebook account? Why wouldn't you just of removed the account from the phone and then re-add it back?

    Can't sync Facebook calendar?

under account setup, I have Facebook, and Facebook HTC Sense.

I can't setup Facebook (when I tap it nothing happens), and Facebook HTC Sense only allows to sync contacts and Live Feed...

So how do I get my FB calendar to sync with my INC?

I've never had this happen. I wonder if an app may be causing it?

If you use the "full" qwerty in portrait mode you shouldn't have the problem. It is only a problem with compact qwerty: ABC and XT9 modes.
I can't remember if it has been doing it since day one or not, but I did notice it early on.

I'm not sure if it's the same issue, as I see it with non-conjunctions as well, but yes it seems to be similar. I guess I will have to get used to using full qwerty more - hopefully it's a random bug that can be fixed in the future. It's minor, but annoying nonetheless.

    Thanks for the replies!

no, not my real facebook, the acct on the phone and then readd it. but by doing this, all my contacts which i linked to their FB pic is now gone, and i had done that manually so it takes a lot of time. is there a way to link all, or multiple contacts at a time to their facebook pic? thanks

Is there any way to make the picture stay up longer than 5 seconds when you get a pic message?? When i get a picture message and open it, the pic disappears and if i hit the pause button the whole screen turn black.

Happens to mine from time to time. Never seems to happen when I'm using it, I heard that annoying reboot sound a hour or so ago and the phone had been sitting on the table 30 minutes with out being touched.

It is a let down, I felt the same way! I am debating on returning the phone partly just for that fact. I did find an app that works pretty well called "voice dialer hf" on market. It does everything with the phone speaker and mic, but it's interactive. Blueant has a headset that comes with an android app.

Android 2.1 doesn't support that yet for some reason. I forget if Froyo 2.2 has it - I believe so.
Moto has integrated it into their Blur (like on the Devour), but aside from that I do not think any Android device has BT voice dialing yet. Welcome to 2010.

Is anyone having a problem with your ringtone only playing for 3 seconds before going silent when you get a phone call. I have the "quiet ring on pickup" option off and it only does this about half the time. I am using a MP3 as my ringtone. I can't figure out why it's doing this.

As much as I'm luvin' Andriod, I also still do consider Google's continued disregard of this issue to be a shocking embarrassment to the OS.

I would be VERY interested to know if anyone has heard of its inclusion in Froyo 2.2!
