You have to install the battery widget to your home screen to be able to monitor this in real time.
I would hope that after 6-7 hours of being plugged in the phone would be fully charged, no? I don't monitor the phone when I'm sleeping, but I'm sure at some point during sleep the green light comes on. When I check the phone in the morning, the battery is at 100%, so I am assuming that means it's fully charged.

You could make it a disk drive via USB to your computer and then just copy and paste the files from one storage to the other.

I use Astro File Manager to transfer photos or other items between the phone and storage card. It's free in the market, and works great.

Yes. In my entire history of owning phones in poor reception areas (years and years), *228 has never done anything helpful regarding reception. Being that it's a new phone, the *228 thing happens when you activate the phone anyways, things didn't change that much in a month. Verizon wanted me to do it anyways, so I did it, but - as expected, it didn't change anything.

Ok so i have the phone for about 3 weeks already and im finding a few problems, some maybe you guys can help me with...

I send alot of text messages about 500 a day, so when i view all my messages for example it says Bill (237) Mark(439) the number inside the () is how many ive sent to that person but it slows down my phone once i hit 200 texts per person and when i click there name and go to that conversation it takes a good 30 seconds to load, so im basically asking isnt there like an auto delete option anywhere? where it deletes old messages unless there locked?

My second question is when im looking at a conversation and i start to scroll up it stays where i scroll for 2 seconds and then goes back to what my last text message with that person was? is it my phone or are other people having this as well?

well i understand that. charging overnight while you sleep is how i do it too. but a lot of other people seem to be talking about charging up their phone until they see the green light come on, and then when they unplug they say they drop to low 90's almost instantly. so the first thing i thought was that mabye they only charged their phone to 90% when they saw that green light come on, and only thought it was 100%. cause the nexus one turns on the green light at 90%, and you have another 10% to go before hitting 100%.

The problem with the Incredible is that it is not charging the battery fully, even though it says 100%. And mine says 100% when I take it off the charger, but not for too long. I think that most of ours don't drop down right away (some do report it dropping to 93% or whatever), but it is much too quick for it to go from 100% to under 90%.

By using the external/spare battery charger or by fully charging with the phone off (or just topping off with the phone off), there is somewhere between 10 and 20% gain in overall battery performance from a battery charged in a "turned on" phone. And it takes hours for it to go from 100% to under 90%, as opposed to about one hour (well, depending on usage of course).

Exactly what I was trying to say. For the first time I topped off the battery this morning. I am using the seidio 1750. There is a world of difference if you use this method. Mine will go from 100% to about 94% in about a half an hour. If I top off the battery, it takes more than an hour to dip below 94%.

Someone posted a supposed fix for the 90-100% battery problem but it hasn't worked for me.

I take no credit for this here is the link

I loaded up an sd card w/ music for my wifes Inc. A lot of the files were m4a. Now only a few songs are showing up. I'm assuming they are the mp3s. Is there an issue w/ m4a or could it be something else?

Facebook has changed some stuff about mobile devices. I had this happen with a non-Droid phone. I received an email to confirm I wanted to add a mobile device. It is in your account page someone that you are saying it is ok to access FB from your phone. May be the problem??

Someone brought it up a few pages ago but it was never addressed and I've been having this same issue as well and was hoping someone else has experienced this or knows a solution to this. But basically my ringtones that I set from my MP3's are gone once I reboot the phone. Is there a way where the ringtones I make and set will stay permanently?
