Automatically go to clock screen / bedside mode when charging the Incredible?

Coming from many years of Blackberries (most recently the Tour), one thing I really find valuable is when you drop the handset in the cradle or charge it, you can set it up to automatically go to Bedside Mode. I can't seem to find any way to do this on Android/the Incredible. Am I missing something obvious?
