USB drivers for Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700

Where can I find these drivers? I'd like to be able to transfer files between the phone and computer and also I'd like to tether my laptop. When I plug in the phone I get SAMSUNG_android in my device manager as an unknown device and Windows can't find drivers for it. On Samsung Canada's website I can't find the drivers anywhere or even a link to PC Studio. No luck on the US site either since apparently this phone isn't even offered there yet.

So I've tried both NPC and Kies. NPC doesn't seem to detect my phone at all. Kies does detect it and appears to successfully install USB drivers for the phone and modem. If I disable USB debugging I can transfer files to and from the phone.

However, I would like to be able to use my phone to tether with my laptop and I haven't been able to do this. If I turn on USB debugging Kies says my phone is not supported. Is there any way to fix this? Are there any 3rd party tether apps?

PC Sync wont install in Windows 7 64 bit.

Not only that. Kies XP is very flaky too. I can get Windows XP to show up the SPica as a modem, ONLY if I run the Spica in download mode otherwise it's a no go. I cant even access my contacts or back them up from KIES under XP.

Why does it seem that Samsung has the worst PC software for smartphones out there?

It's considered an old phone....probably just use it for a phone and nothing else. there is no support and that's why i will not own another samsung mobile device again. it doesnt matter that people love the Galaxy 2, without support the product is garbage in my mind.
