would i be able to get a new boost cdma account and activate the phone again ?
my phone no longer seems to be working on boost dont know what wrong im guessing the guy i got things done with scammed me cuz it worked for 2 days or so and then bam my data wont connect and when i got to make calls it ask if i wanna make a collect call..i cant call boost customer serivice but i can call sprint..would i be able to get a new boost cdma account and activate the phone again on the new account or while the esn be affected? and if anyones whillin to do this for me(im no good with CS i always seem to yell and curse at these people)i would pay you via paypal or something..i just need this phone bad can go to work with out my phone..

Well you could use deathtrip's service www.sprint2boost.com. 30 bucks if you want to start a new boost account, 20 to use the one you already have. But it sounds like you havent deactivated roaming on the phone, (seems to be a common problem) so you would need to go into the settings menu and change the phone to "sprint only" or something like home network. (if I knew what phone you are using I could give more detailed instructions)
Left Virgin for Helio and all it had to offer... Only to get "acquired" back to virgin again... slowly loosing everything I switched for. Then came a light at the end of the tunnel when we got "acquired" yet again by sprint... sadly they brought us nothing and took from us everything, so as the ship sank I stayed aboard and then on the 23rd I quickly ported over to boost... and I'm the happiest I've ever been.
RIP HELIO... you were set-up to fail but it was fun while it lasted.
ok on my TP (1st Gen) you go to the settings tab... then communications... then settings on the bottom right... then phone... then the services tab... then roaming (click get settings)... then select sprint only.
I havent heard anything about that fixing something like this... but I know that when you activate a sprint phone you need to have the sprint stock rom installed to get it to provision properly. I wouldnt suggest doing a hard reset at this point because it would remove all the settings you need... can you access your account on the boost website, and if so does everything look normal, no flags so to speak?
well again like i stated i purchased the phone and service from someone (questionable desicion i know) he gave the password so that i could pay my 50 a month..ive tried to log in but no go..i tried going to dead trips site but i think its down..

so the phone was working (all services) for a couple days and then suddenly nothing worked right? so when you got the phone did you pay the first $50 bucks onto the account? if so perhaps the guy wanted a new phone and a free month and let you pay and then dropped your TP2 and changed the account pin... which would make him quite the lowlife.
i read some where about updating prl ? but when i try i get an error mesage with that
I dont know much about prl... but from what I remember it tells the phone what "home" towers to look for, but I doubt that would randomly change like that... but again its outside my area of expertise.

yes assuming that he did infact do that, then yes your esn would be clear to reactivate. you can check the esn by going to www.sprint.com/chat and asking them to check your esn (meid dec) to make sure that you could activate it on a new account. but I think you will prob have to wait until morning to check.
