This is supposed to be a smartphone that you can carry around with you. Everywhere.

Once again, Motorola moved big fat, brick cell phones from belts to pockets all over the world with the Razr, now this?

It's not a done deal until we see some measurements, but unless there is something way distorted about that pic, or it's an out of proportion image photoshopped into that person's hand, you can count me out.

Really? I can fit at least a couple Droids in each pocket. You must wear tight skinny jeans. Are you a hipster? LMAO.

Totally agree, never seen so much childish behavior over one pic of a device we don't know full specific on yet.

(sits back in lawn chair while watching people bicker about the phone already)

This is funny at the amount of complaining going on between here and the other sites about this phone. No one knows the exact nature of this phone yet nor will we know until it is officially annouced in my opinion. There is nothing wrong with rumors and leaks and other things like that but Im getting a felling that we are getting too caught up in it....

Anyways, the phone is shaping on to be a nice phone. We will know in a while whats true and what's not. I'll leave with this thought, "believe half of what you see and none of what you here".

Also this is not a bash/troll/flame or what ever you kids call it these days lol

Just wait for more pictures to surface before you cut it off, but it is okay to not like the look of phone. Some people on here seem as if they made the phone and they are personally offended. I personally prefer HTCs style of phone but Motorola's build quality.

I think this phone looks amazing. I'm surprised some find the size too big, hello have you not seen what the HD2 looks like? I can't wait to see the final product, I can just imagine that phone in a nice otterbox case!

Had to look up the definition of hipster:

"Hipsters are a subculture of men and women typically in their 20's and 30's that value independent thinking, counter-culture, progressive politics"

So no, not a hipster, not in my 20's or 30's or a part of a counter culture. And if I did wear tight skinny jeans, I would want to be able to carry my phone in the pocket, same holds true with sweatpants, running shorts etc.

And it's not me who has resorted to name calling (i.e. whiner, hipster, childish). All I'm doing is expressing my opinions about a picture of a phone posted on an internet discussion forum. If you read my posts I said that the phone looked big in the picture and acknowledged that it could be a result of a number of factors, to include the possibility that it is photoshopped or the person has small hands etc.. I also said that I would wait to see the final measurements. But that does not mean that I don't have the right to express my opinion which I did, so no apologies here.

Now I'm waiting to see some numbers.

Don't let the door hit you in the @ss on the way out! There are plenty of phones of all shapes and sizes. If this one isn't what you're looking for - we don't care.

I love the size and can't wait to try it out.

Wow, one little picture and you guys go nuts. Good thing it was a professional picture done with a great setting to show the phone off. Oh, wait....

Look, if you think Shadow is too big than get Droid 2. Simple. If you think the Incredible or HD2 isn't to big, than Shadow will be fine for you (it will even fit better in your pocket).

And if bending over causes it to fall out of your pocket, than you pants are to tight or you left it sticking half way out of your pocket.

A big part of my desire for this phone was based on its using the more efficient cpu in hopes for better battery life.

I think maybe I'll let that incredible come and see how bad the batt life is...

At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist -- there are some odd looking items in the background of that gym. But, since it was in a Verizon facility, I guess the shot was obviously taken in another room.

This is hardly a "beauty shot" of the phone (if it is the Shadow) -- so it's hard to imagine this image was "leaked" on purpose. At the same time, this trend by corporations [Apple] of "misplacing" prototypes in order to fuel consumer anticipation -- and then [complaining, suing, and firing] over-it is becoming tiresome. Not that Moto is doing it -- just a general observation.
