The Shadow processor is 45nm versus the incredibles 65nm, so produces less heat and consumes less power. The Shadow will have the PowerVR SGX530 GPU. Motorola tends to have better reception than HTC. Like it or not the Moto Droid has excellent build quality and I expect the Shadow to also.
The Shadow sure looks like a superior device to the Incredible to me.
Do we know if the screen is going to be like TFT like the Droid or will it be something else?

I am still in the 30 day return on my INC (i love this phone!) and it looks like I will be going back to my Krave (ughh!) to get the Shadow. Bigger screen is a gynormous draw! I read here on one of the threads that the screen will be a transreflective TFT. I think that means it will kick A__ in direct sun!?? Anyone know if this is the deal? I use my phone outside much of the time.

Yes i do believe word from those in the know has been that motorola is going with TFT for this phone, and i think they have specifically pointed out that it is very good in sunlight.
why is there an icon that looks like a web cam? but i don't see no front facing camera?
That's not a webcam. It appears to be a silhouette of a person. That must be the Contacts icon - calls on the left, contacts on the right and the menu button in the center.
I'm hoping that it'll be changed a bit in Android 2.2.
I think the four icons we see are music, camera, camcorder, and gallery...
Seems strange to me that there is both a phone and a contacts button on the bottom, seems redundant, either one should be fine. I'd rather have a button for the browser there like in froyo...
im happy to say that if the iphone came to verizon right now.. i would buy this phone over it.
never thought the day would come, but android is making so many strides (as an operating system)..
only thing that the new iphone has over this phone (spec wise) is the front facing camera
good thing my ne2 isnt until next summer, by then ill have my front facing camera, and hopefully an internship to pay off the data plan
(or ill just switch to sprint haha)
