^^^^512Mb RAM if I'm not mistaken. Oh and your #4 is a bit way off if it releases with 2Mb of memory. Gonna be a min of 2GB, and I've heard there has been a change in that also. So I'm guessing 4GB min, and we could only be so luck they upped it to 8Gb

Any word on the battery? I'm expecting Motorola doesn't make the same mistake HTC did with the Incredible, and the Shadow will be able to make it through a heavy use day on a single charge (like my Droid). I returned my Incredible because it was deficient in ways that Motorola usually excel: Reception, Battery Life, and Sense UI.

Bill, Can you tell us how the screen looks (aside from the size)? I have a 4 or 5 year old Garmin C60 that has a color screen that is fantastic in the sun. Its only 16 colors but I seem to remember it being transreflective lcd.

How does the Shadow's screen compare to the Inc? Is it better in direct sunlight?

If the Shadow is anything like my C60, along with full color.....sign me up! Thanks!

About the battery: The cpu in the Inc. uses 65nm technology; the one in the current Droid uses 65nm tech. The cpu in the Shadow uses 45nm tech. The lower that nm number gets, the less heat it generates, the less power it uses. If you wanna know more about 90nm vs. 65nm vs. 45nm quick and easy, look up the Xbox 360 Jasper motherboard, and the cpu's from Intel. (for the 360, it made the system run cooler, u can feel the difference by touching it)

A cpu using technology that uses less heat and less power....I dont know if they will use a different or bigger battery, but the battery life should be at least the same, not worse.

And I guarentee if they woulda put a cpu in the Inc. that used 45nm tech, the battery would be better. I would say something about that, but I will leave that for another thread....

(before anyone looks up whats running in the Inc, its QSD8650, not 8650A)

Probably not, unless they have the nexus two ready ( which I doubt) . After all the Droid was not shown at the last Google l/O.

IF the shadow is almost ready for release, which all speculation leads me to believe (and hope )Than why would they not drop it at Google I/O? The Droid didn't drop until late fall last year

Man, that homescreen is about a million times better looking in Froyo and the speed difference between 2.1 and 2.2 is INCREDIBLE. I'm really hoping the Shadow releases with 2.2 on it.

    Where is everyone?

I guess everyone is watching the livestream of Google I/O.

The Froyo features seemed amazing. I wish Shadow was a Froyo product, but I guess it will be upgraded soon. How much will BLUR delay the upgrade to Froyo?

Too bad they screwed up the Google TV demos so badly. I feel like the screw-ups totally threw the flow and the impressions of the introduction off. I bet these CEOs that are sitting here right now are pissed off about the screw-up. Kind of bungles the first impression.

The 2.2 froyo update almost makes the sense UI on my phone near pointless. Hopefully HTC rolls out a update quickly, but then again, I might not even have the incredible by then.
