Question about Pay as you Go Socialite 20

Hello everyone , I'm in a process of finding a new low price plan and I stumbled upon the Socialite 20$.

As I don't use a lot of minutes every month it seemed perfect because it offered unlimited text messages and call display, but I am unsure of one thing :

Would the 20$ I pay each month go toward my prepaid time, or I would need to add another 10-20$ per month? 20$ seemed like a pretty good deal but having to pay 40$ per month is too expensive...

Socialite 20 costs $20 per month. It includes unlimited local calling from 3pm-6pm, unlimited text messaging, unlimited browsing, and requires a minimum top-up of $10.

Using out of bucket minutes (meaning those that do not fall within the 3pm - 6pm range) will cost you $0.25 per minute. This is not part of the $20, and you will incur additional costs based on how many minutes you use.

The Socialite 20 plans includes: call display, voicemail, group calling, call wiating, and call forwarding.

Ex: if you use 4 "out of bucket" minutes, you will be paying $21 on the month

The previous poster didn't seem to answer your question so I shall. The $20 you put in will be deducted towards the Socialite 20 plan every 30 days.

Ex. $20 gets taken out on April 1st and another $20 will be taken out again May 1st.

Just watch out that you don't use any out of plan usage (airtime, txts, web usage) if you put the money a day before hand because say you use $0.25 for a minute, your balance will only be 19.75 and will be insufficient.

Okay thanks for the answers, I think this plan is not for me. I'd say Fido or Virgin offer the best prepaid plans. Prepaid is great because I don't need that many minutes and they all include caller display which is 6-7$ on a monthly plan
