dumb question about Desire

I told my friend that Desire will only be EDGE on Rogers in Canada.
as the European Desire is only 2100 900 on 3G mode.

as Robellus requires 2100 850

is my explanation correct? Please define thanks.

Rogers requires 850/1900. If the Desire makes it to Telus/Bell HSPA then it will work fine on Rogers 3G.

There is a Telstra version that you can have right not. As mentioned if it hits a Canadian carrier it will work on Rogers. Rumor has it that the Truimph might be a Desire in hiding. Expect to pay a lung, an arm and left nut when it does hit Canada.

The Desire is coming to Telus so do not go buying some foreign one unless he must have it now! It will be July ish from what has been rumored. I mean that is a month away!
