"We are committed to cover more than 400 markets by the end of 2012. We will continue to expand and strengthen our 4G LTE network and plan to offer full nationwide coverage everywhere we have 3G coverage today, by the end of 2013."
You have it the other way around. They changed it to mid 2013. They said that in their Q2 report last week.

They started saying mid 2013 early on in 2012, I can't remember what month, but it was quite a while ago. Then as trocks and others noted, they switched it back in their press releases to the end of 2013. Where is this q2 report from last week?

Here is what I have. In march there was an fcc filing saying the mid 2013 date. It is mentioned on the post linked to below, found in this thread.

Then as I showed before, the June press release here says end of 2013.

Now you are telling me a more recent Q2 report says mid 2013.

So basically I'm getting that originally we had an end of 2013 date, early this year it turned to mid 2013, then it became end of 2013, and now it is once again mid 2013? Is that about right?

Schammo mentioned it during the earnings call.

    Droid-Life posted about it

Thanks. They really need to stop flip flopping on the date then. They started the LTE rollout with end of 2013 estimate, Changed it to mid 2013 in march, then in their june press release said end of 2013, and then went back to mid 2013 with shammo.

I saw a lot today. Houston to Conroe, then from about 50 mi south of Dallas to 50 miles north of Dallas. I'm on US 75 and not out of it yet. Speeds north of Houston were slow.

Was driving around near the I-69 and I-94 interchange in Michigan today. Both the tower at the southwest corner of the interchange and the one a few miles north of the interchange looked like they had LTE panels on them. Granted, I was doing ~70 MPH while driving by them, but it's impossible to miss those big suckers. Checked my phone, but no LTE there. I wonder if Verizon is gearing up for an expansion into Battle Creek.

Hope Victorville/Hesperia/Barstow California are part of their next LTE roll out. These areas have Ev-do operating 700k/sec, which is slower than AT&T's HSPA+

Also still getting Ev-do is Palmdale/Lancaster and low desert areas Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage.

That'd be nice! While I basically only stay in the LA basin and Orange County, it'll be great to have the outer parts of the metro area covered too.

    Verizon's 3G network. ............................................ AT&T's 3G network.

    Verizon's 4G network.

The August announcements have begun. So far most of them have been "in the coming weeks" but the big day looks to be August 16th.

You did indeed! That'll be exciting for me, as I make frequent trips between Ann Arbor and Kalamazoo on I-94. I suppose after this is finished, all that will remain is "the Jackson market". Speaking of that, I wonder what's taking them so long. I'm sort of surprised that both Kalamazoo and Battle Creek are coming before it (although personally, I'm glad they did; that coverage is more useful to me.)

Got out of work this afternoon on Fort McCoy, WI and saw that the 4G symbol was turned on on my Gnex. Did some speed tests:

When I got home to Sparta, WI, the 4G was no longer lit up. Soon maybe?!?!
