You should see if they have a better deal. You can chat with them online and see what they have to offer.

comcast is greedy with their prices...i went online chat to see about getting BASIC cable (just so i can get TBS so i can watch Conan O'Brien, big fan) and the smallest "deal" was $40 +.....wouldnt come down on price and couldnt tell me what channel's id be getting and no i didnt just talk to one rep i talk with like 3-4 diff ppl..it was like talking to a damn robot that can only say 5 things...yea so i said F this..went over to look at verizon and they are just too much money, yea so dont really know what im going to do since i only have comcast and verizon to choose from...i saw sumthing bout dish network for $20 a month and ill be able to get TBS???

It increased dramatically when Verizon was negotiating with the city for a FiOS franchise.

They should have offered you something better than that. If you try calling again maybe they will have something better.
