    Nokia Nuron Speed test

I'm thinking about getting this phone for tethering. Just want to know what speeds you guys are getting.

EDGE tethering is the best I've seen out of a phone, very consistant and fast. Overtime my opinion of it's 3G tethering performance diminished. I don't know if it was T-Mobile directly, or the phone but it was barely managing 1Mbps on a tower that could easily give me 2Mbps (at the time; speeds have trippled since then). It reached 2Mbps once and stayed at 1Mbps for the rest of my tethering. So if you're looking to get the most out of the 3.6HSDPA modem, you should look elsewhere. If you just need something to get online with it's ok. Also note that it will not charge via USB so that's another added pain.
    Bye!

Since it supports HSDPA 3.6, you can expect up to 2Mbps.

Did you guys get >3M bps speed with Nuron tethering or HSPA modem?

I've never got that kind of speed with phone tethering (Nuron or TM506). The 2nd speedtest .54-0.7M is more like it.

On my Nuron in NYC, tethering on my netbook speedtest showed just below 2Mbps. Love how fast it is!
