Milestone and google earth...

Hey so.....
Why can't I seem to find Google earth on the market place, and when I use Google's send to phone button it gives an error?
running telus's 2.1 rooted

Well not quite... the google earth mobile app is basically a mini google earth (tilt pan zoom etc...) NOT google maps...

anyone have any luck with it? I can't seem to find it in the market and when I try and DL it from that page for some reason it doesn't go through...

Which root method did you use on your Telus Milestone... are you still on the Telus firmware?

Now that you mention it, I don't see Google Earth on the market either with my rooted Milestone. Nor on my Froyo Nexus One. I know I downloaded it to my N1 at some point when it was on 2.1.

Ya i used the Telus firware update for the root.....

Anyone there with a stock unroted (but 2.1 OTA) phone want to have a look to see if its in the market?

Besides a couple minor visual differences, you can do everything useful with the google maps app... Why would you want to install google earth on the device as well?

Just checked the marketplace on my stock 2.1 Milestone and I can't find the Google Earth app.
