Over the last few days reception has gotten a bit better! Go wind Go wind!!
I have had coverage as far west as Guelph line and east to Oshawa
Android me
As is typical of WIND i wouldn't describe Laurier/Thompson a problem at all and yet you do so it is very dependant on what exact address you frequent that I do not, sort of like bad luck but of course WIND "should" cover that whole area. I have no problems indoors in the Hayward Crescent/Laurier area, barely west of the above intersection.
I recommend to people that I tell about WIND that if they switch to WIND they should immediately check the places they frequent most because in large buildings and basements WIND still has strange coverage holes. The phone you choose seems to have some impact on reception as well where an area is weak but usable with one phone but non existant with another.
I can't find any outdoor coverage holes anymore which is an improvement from 6 months ago for me. Also I had 3 indoor problems I encountered at places I frequented often since I joined and they are all gone now. It's getting better, slowly.
I'm talking about around Bruce Trail school.. It goes from no bars to 2 bars on the second floor. On WINDs Google Earth it is a dead zone (that's what WIND reps told me).
Maybe its better for you because there is a tower close to Childs.
So its been a few months... but unfortunately no improvements in the above area what so ever.... Only if it weren't for the cheapness of the Holiday Miracle Plan...
Still no update on coverage in Milton...![]()
Is anyone from Wind actually reading this?
I haven't noticed any improvement, but according to wind there is new tower in Milton
