I have an AX265 on PP and I have noticed it when sending and receiving text messages that on the screen it shows 2 arrows at the top and then it will come up with a message saying authentication failed. Is there any way I might be able to fix this?

I don't have a AX265 so I'm just guessing but it almost sounds like the message is a MMS message and not an SMS message. If you have the phone registered on PagePlus' website check to see if they are charging you for a MMS message and data each time it happens. If so, you likely don't have the phone set up for PagePlus data/MMS and thus it won't be able to send or receive MMS.
The AX265 is the same exact one as the LG Banter. And I am not sending or receiving any picture messages. I am just texting and calling. The icon glossary says its in state calls for the green phone and then the red arrows are for data. Cause when it happens it shows a green phone and then goes to the red arrows. And the data sent and received are about 2-3kb and my data on my pp account online has gone down a hair. I am racking my brain trying to figure how to fix it and why it is doing it as there is nothing causing it to do this.
Heavenly, I actually have an LG VX 8550 on PP but the exact same problems. I can use everything about my phone except send or receive pics or videos. I just switched from UT&T to the T&T 1200 with 50 MB of data yesterday for the higher data usage. I did send a report to PPC so maybe they will contact me tomorrow & I will share any info that may help.
Sounds like you are sending it as a MMS...
Text messaging doesnt use data.
Verify you are sending a TEXT (SMS) Message...
