Teach a man to fish, and we won't see anymore of these threads in our forum.
If the mods were smart and would sticky one of the many threads on this topic, we wouldn't have it either.
Please don't PM me asking questions that could very easily be asked publicly.
Band I/1 = IMT, 2100 (rarely wrongly referred to as 1900/2100)
Band II/2 = PCS, 1900 (never wrongly referred to as 1800/1900)
Band III/3 = DCS, 1800 (never wrongly referred to as 1700/1800)
Band IV/4 = AWS, 1700 (often wrongly referred to as 1700/2100)
Band V/5 = CLR, 850
Band VIII/8 = GSM, 900
Because it's not titled appropriately. Nobody's going to read through every thread in the FAQ forum when it won't clearly be answered. The forum needs a sticky titled "list of phones that will work on Wind" or "will my phone work on wind?" - something like that. cramming every question into a single FAQ thread never works well
People who suggest using the search function often do so knowing the results, or alternatively suggest it when the answer isn't there. It's one of the most commonly asked questions, it makes sense to dedicate a thread to it rather than stubbornly sticking to what's already there.
wooo! sorry! guys please no fighting. i have never seen or heard of this phone, so i wanted to make sure, since the Motorola backflip is showing compatible according to gsmarena but that is incorrect info.

Since the seller stated it has updated software and hardware, you should be happy with it.
I had the older version hardware and it had power button issue, which is the most annoying. Now I have updated hardware and I am happy with it. Not to mention it's reliable with updated version.
Reception is OK at best, just make sure don't have your hands cover the back of the trackball area (antenna). In addition, Opera and SPB mobile shell are no longer included. You can get Opera 10 from opera.com and PM aaron@pharos to get download link of SPB mobile shell.
About compatible screen protector, you can get Sprint version TP2 and cut a bit on the top and bottom.
There's NO wired headset/headphones available except from pharosgps.com, but you can use bluetooth headphones and it works fine.

Moto backflip doesn't have band IV 3G, only CLIQ or CLIQ XT do (T-Mobile US version).
Check my profile, except two CDMA phones, all phones listed are Wind compatible.
