I was unable to find the files i had uploaded to mega upload so when i get a chance ill re edit my files to remove all my info and re upload them. Also alot of people are private messaging me about other devices, like i said before any sprint 3g device can work on 3g verizon(pp) but the most important part is the initial programming and because the way page plus is setup you can not switch devices back and forth very easy, i did all my evo work on verizon so i was able to switch phones on my account as much as i wanted to get things right. and if your gonna get 3g to work with any verizon device your gonna have to use the dmu 10.key , google it
Is it just a matter of dropping those files into the correct spots in QPST or is there more to it? I've been trying to get my 3G going for months and with your info I am seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel!
Thanks!
KC

That zip contains nvitems dump from cdma workshop, qpst save file and vzw dmu 10 key.
Iff you have come this far then you should already have your spc changed to 000000 and a vzw prl loaded
1: have another phone activated to your pp account
2: connect to qpst>start client>service programming click read from phone and under cdma-2 tab write down the number in imsi_s, close qpst
3: connect evo to cdma workshop, send spc, go to memory tab > Nv Items > Write and choose the file NVItems, let it finish writing and close out cdma workshop, do not send reset
4: connect to qpst>efs explorer click ok to send spc and after folder list loads drop the 10.key file into the DMU folder , close efs and open service programming , click load file and choose the file provided , after it loads go under the cdma-2 tab and change the imsi_s to the one you wrote down earlier, save to phone .
5: reset phone , have it reactivated and *228 program it, after it resets from programming dial ##data# edit and make sure the proper min and mdn wrote to the phone, if not enter them manually and reset
IF 3g does not work let it sit for about 15 mins and it should start working, if not just connect qpst and double check all the data settings and make sure the phone numbers match up,Do not edit AAA Ha passwords
sorry for the poor write up but i have never wrote a tutorial, but i have activated many evo's on vzw and to my knowledge am the only person to have 3g truly working so i know it will also work with pp, and if you guys do a little digging you can also have 4g =)
Rats, the light at the end of that tunnel just flickered out again. Now I can see why you said it wouldn't be easy to switch devices back-and-forth on PP. Oh well. But thanks for the help and I'm sure we all appreciate that you took the time to write up the tutorial.
Thank you everyone for all the excellent instructions on this thread to bring Sprint EVO to PP. I am about to make my move. Can someone please point me to the latest PRL that's been modified for Sprint. I found 52031m.zip on another thread. Is that the right/latest one?
I just flashed my HTC Evo to p+ but I dont know how to have the MMS working. I have the 3g working, slow but working but the MMS its not working at all, could anyone please tell me how to make it work?
To flash it I followed a tutorial posted here but the tutorial mentions something about downloading APN from the market which I did but then it says I have to download a file from megaupload but that site is down, any help would be appreciated, thanks
Yes, the Evo3D can be put on P+. The procedures are the same as the Evo:
1. Grab MSL reader from the market, get your MSL, or use CDMA Workshop to find it.
2. Use CDMA Workshop to put in your MDN/MIN and load a PRL. (PRL should be a modified one for Sprint Phones. I use 51425m.prl. Google is your friend here.)
3. Use CDMA Workshop to put yournumber@vzw3g.com in the data sections.
4. Use CDMA Workshop to set your mode (on the NAM screen) to CDMA Only.
5. Reboot your phone, call P+ give them the MEID.
This gives you Talk, Text and 1XRtt Net.
As an aside, it's a good idea to change your MSL to something you can remember that's NOT all zeros. Reason for this is that if Verizon pushes a PRL update, your phone will show that it's roaming, and may lose programming.
Another tip.. OTA programming will never pass on these or the Evo 4G. You'll have to program them yourself.
You can also use QPST if you don't want to buy CDMA workshop, though i'd recommend the latter.
There are other tweaks you can do, such as setting your home SID (4192). I used a Verizon Eris to get the SID/NID pairs. Perhaps overkill, but I'm anal-retentive. =-)
You won't need any files. Use EPST (##3282#) on the phone, go to advanced, then change the mms URL to http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms . Reboot and get your picture messages. ;-) Just so you know, you can't receive MMS while on WiFi (at least with a Sense ROM).

I've updated my prl on my evo shift and edited mdn msid(min) on evo shift, but when i dial #611 or dial any other number it doesn't even ring. It just says dialing but then the phone returns to my key pad. I've loaded prl 51425m.prl both from CDMA WS and ##775#. i just need talk and text. can anybody help me with this problem?
