So I have an issue with my BB 9700 where the plastic above the trackpad cracked because it is so thin. According to the website, devices are covered up to 12 months, but any physical or water damage is not.

My device is still in perfect condition, so not sure how this crack happened, but my assumption is the crappy quality of these phones.

Should I try and ask for a replacement? Has anyone had experience getting warranty replacements?
