There was a time when I wanted to upgrade my iPhone 4S to iPhone 5, but then I read many negative reviews (like this one for example or these), plus those apple maps things... so I changed my mind. Now I want to buy either a Samsung Galaxy S3 (big and nice screen!) or a Nokia Lumia 920 (beauty-beauty-beauty!!!) or some rugged Sony Xperia (rugged AND beautiful!). So I voted for Samsung, Nokia and Sony...

Just got myself an awesome Galaxy Note 2. It was an impulse buy really. What I originally planned was an LG Nexus 4, but it is extremely hard to get one now. Someday though...

I don't mind a Droid DNA aka HTC Butterfly as well.

Samsung. I am impressed with note 2. Next up: note 4.

The reason being they are the only company who still dont lock their bootloaders. Respect for the developer community goes a long way :-)

Samsung has some "pretty' phones but their radios just plain suck..Nothing windows is in my future.. Google by giving the carriers a free hand to load a ton of unremovable crap ware and the lack of any quality control over the software is quickly losing my support leaving the iPhone WHICH IS NO CRAPWARE,GREAT RADIOS, TOTALLY UNLOCKED (Verizon version -how ironic considering verizon is the king of crap) and the ability to preload maps all say goodbye to everyone except apple AS MUCH AS I HATE TO SUBMIT TO THEM but google just has turned out to be a total loser in the quality department..Really SIII their flagship ??!?!? I had an old 3gs that got connections where the SIII could not even make a simple call...So I must eat my words and go eat the WORM, or half , from the core of Apple..sorry , really sorry but when crap is all that you are offered you just gotta chose the lesser of the 100's of evils!
Former Droid X user..A friend talked me into an Iphone 4 ,, CAN'T GO WRONG ??!!? Execpt if you use DUN, FLASH, anything that doesn't have an I * in it's name etc..I did , and do , hate verizon and all their ads. BUT I want to go back to a good droid(stop laugh here) using ST..Any help is welcomed. Thanks Bill

I'm not big on complicated technology, but I really like my LG. As long as I can make phone calls, text, and take pictures I'm happy. I will probably get an Android unlocked because I do a lot of international traveling.

When I win the lottery I'm going to get a Samsung Galaxy S4, or something from BLU if their prices are right, or maybe a FireFoxOS phone but for sure one of them Ubuntu phones, when I win the lottery that is.

My Samsung Nexus S had a fairly good radio. I just replaced it with an LG Nexus 4. It's exactly what I expected: somewhat better in all respects -- reception, screen size/resolution, the latest Android software, no crapware, unlocked, and lower price. I was checking out the BLU offerings, but it was difficult to find a supplier in Canada.

I am still looking for a very small phone (as in this thread: http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...EALLY-small%29), but they have gone out of fashion. The Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus is the only one on the horizon.

I've been an iPhone fan for a long time but it's high time that I follow my needs and go with an android and since there's so much customization support for samsungs galaxy s3 that will be my next phone and my first android. It's ridiculous how arrogant apple is, I'm sick of being limited to just the formats they dictate we can watch. 99% of the streaming videos online are still in flash so what the hell. Basically unless someone is generous enough to bend over backwards and serve the apple gadgets by converting specially for them apple users are SOL. Good riddance apple and hello sexy Samsung galaxy S3. :3
