The Symbian S60 5th edition is now delivering an additional HD video recording function. Sony Ericsson Vivaz U5i will enhance your broadcasting and sharing experience.

Inside the box, we can find a Sony Ericsson Vivaz phone, an EP500 battery, a pair of Sony Ericsson headphones, a standalone stylus, a charger, a data cable, a J handsfree and a user’s guide.


At a first glance, the phone reflects Sony Ericsson's new 'human curvature' design philosophy. The handset is smooth and handy with a compact TFT touch screen made by fine glossy plastic. It is available in 4 colors: moon silver, cosmic black, galaxy blue and venus ruby. Below the 3.2 inches touch screen, there are three hardware buttons.


The power and keypad lock key can be found on the top.


The USB port and 3.5mm audio jack are located at the top left corner.


Vivaz has a camera shutter button and a separate video capture button.


The 8.1MP camera has an LED flash (photo light) with touch focus and smile detection functions. With the HD capabilities, the camera can record videos in the highest level of resolution--720p. You can share your masterpieces with the world in a few seconds through send-to-web function.


Under the battery compartment cover, you can find the SD card slot. The internal phone memory is 70MB. The phone supports a microSD card up to 32GB.


Talking about the operation system, Vivaz runs with the 5th edition Symbian Series 60. It provides varies apps including: YouTube, Facebook, Media Server download chat, IM, conversation Msg, SMS preview etc. Using Vivaz, you can upload images and videos directly to the Internet via Wi-Fi.


The interface can be freely rotated to landscape mode with the built-in accelerometer sensor.
