I've called in earlier today and gave them a borrowed ESN for a Boost Moto385. That put me on CDMA. After a few hours I called in with the ESN for the Treo Pro, and while they said it's not a Boost phone, they put the device on the network and gave me the programming instructions.
I tried to enter the ##XXXXXX# number the CSR gave me, but nothing happens really. When I press the call button, the phone makes a phone call using the Sprint service and I get the "account can't be validated" message. Does anyone have tips on how to proceed from here? I know it's the wrong section, but any pointers would be helpful!
Since you literally did something I said you did not need to do, I won't be helping you anymore.

Sorry, deathtrip, I didn't see your message before I did it this morning. At least, I can now see the ESN of the Treo Pro in my Boost account. But I still can't put it on the network. None of the ##XXX# codes are working. The phone has been unlocked via HardSPL, a basic (non-sprint) WM6.1 ROM has been flashed on it, but still no dice. I see EPST.exe in the phone's file system on my computer, but I can't access it on the phone.
You've already screwed up because 1, you need the stock ROM to be able to provision the web/data, and 2 your non-stock ROM probably disabled the ability to enter ##codes#
All of this information is on the forum here, and this thread isn't the place to ask for help with getting your ACTIVATED phone to work.
I currently have a Motorola Q9C activated on Boost Mobile (after starting with a Boost iDen phone and following everyone's instructions to do an ESN swap to get the Sprint phone active). Well, I wanted to switch my phone to a Samsung Intrepid (also a Sprint phone) and after calling 4 different times I was told that this phone couldn't be activated. The first three times I was just told they can only activate a Boost phone. During the last call the rep gave me more info. and apologized that he was unable to activate it. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong or not. I checked the ESN (Thanks Deathtrip) and it's showing as clear. Any advise?
There is difficulty getting some Samsung phones activated on Boost Mobile. The Intrepid can be activated, but the problem is you don't know which one can or can't until you try. The ones that can't be activated display a plan code error for the CSR, there is no way to force it on the system.
